My father is on life support and doctors want to pull a plug...

My father is 54 years old and he just survived cardiac arrest and he is breathing on breathing machine. Doctors ran some tests and they didn't show brain functions they think he is brain dead and want to pull the plug on the breathing machine which will cause him to die. My family are strongly against this and we think that they caused his heart to stop and they want to pull a fast one since we are not knowledgable very much in this area. How do I stop them to pull the plug? How much is the wait on this usually? I went in the room and I talked to him about his grandchildren and I saw tear coming out his left eye. I think these doctors are trying to feed me some BULL**** and I'm not taking it. Please answer me as soon as you can. Thanks.

They cannot pull the plug if you and the family do not agree.

Get a lawyer in there if you have real concerns about the hospital's actions.
