Im a physician and applying for licensure in a particular state and said state is giving me a hassle and wants me to come for an interview "to discuss my application". They go on further to state i can have legal counsel there as well. Moreover they say if I dont show up I can be subpeoneoed. This is way too much for me. I want to withdraw my applicaiton. What kind of lawyer do i have to speak to? and can i just wirthdraw my application or am i obligated to meet with them?

You can withdraw.
There are lawyers that work with licensing boards regularly or as a specialty. Email world law if you want some recommendations, if you decide you need counsel. They may be able to direct you to some additional help. |
