Angry My father passed away b/c medicare denied a claim

My father was denied a heart procedure he need to get done. Medicare told my parents they made to much money for medicare to cover it. However the only reason that my parents made to much money was b/c medicare gives them a 64.00 living expense a month..well they were 52.00 over on the budget..so when medicare denied the procedure that was on Jan 25,2009. My father had a massive heart attack on the 26th and passed away in the hospital a week later. Is there anything I can do. I don't even know what kind of lawyer I do need. or would need. My father would still be here if they could have caught it in time and they would have caught it being the procedure was a day before hand. Can I do something?

It is certainly possible you have a case based on what you say here; you could take a brief description of these events as well as your medical records to an injury attorney and see if the attorney thinks you have a claim; often you need to contact several attorneys to find one to take the case; the review of your case and records is often free and then they will normally take the case on a contingency fee basis if they think you can win; you would pay only if they collect for you...
