Confused Need Leg Fixes

My father is diabetic and had had problems with both of his legs. He was told he had blockage in both and they required stints. His right leg was the one giving him the most problems, always cold foot and severe numbness and tingling. Upon the advice of the surgeon he was hospitalized for the right leg to have the surgery performed, after the surgery he was told his internist informed the surgeon to do the left leg instead. The left leg surgery went very well. Three weeks later the right leg was done. Eight months later the right leg has seen no improvement. He has been told it is the diabetes causing the problem and it would get better, just wait. He has, and has since been told he has a pinched nerve. He has been given every excuse as to why it is not getting better and now there is an awful sore on the leg. He cannot get a straight answer from either doctor. Neither of my parents are looking to sue anybody, we are just looking for an honest answer and a reason as to why the leg is not improving. His right foot is always cold, he has tingling, as if the leg and foot are asleep and his walking is unbearable to watch. How can he get a straight answer for the doctors?

Default Re: Need Leg Fixes

It seems to me you should have a second opinion from an independent specialist as a first step!!
