NYS: Part of Med Mal Case, or separate Breach of Contract/HIPAA Law Violation?

Besides standard negligence in terms of horrendous medical care, a hospital --that I'll be naming as a defendant in a med mal, negligence, wrongful death case -- also violated an agreement I'd signed, barring certain out-of-state relatives from having any contact with my parents or their health care providers at that hospital.


Breach of that contract led to the premature death of my parents.

You can include it if all stems from the same facts. But you really almost have to have a lawyer take such cases these days. Or you will not prevail.

And if the lawyers will not take it then the case may not be viable.

However, having witnessed what happened, I can't let the miseries get away, even if it means doing it myself.
