husband given unknown medication

my husband is currently being held without bond in the county jail, he has always had high blood pressure, the jail would not let him see a nurse or a doctor for two weeks then when they did they immediatly put him on "blood pressure medicine" so he was told, he is taking two pills one of them twice a day and another pill once a day a total of 5 pills per day. He is not acting right, he downright goofy. My husband has NEVER ACTED GOOFY A DAY IN HIS LIFE. He acts like he is stoned out of his mind. He was a former officer so he usually has a serious attitude. When he asked what meds they put him on they refused o tell him, they refuse to tell me. How do we know that they aren't killing him or sedating him? Yes his blood pressure is down but he is nuts. cAN THEY REFUSE TO DISCLOSE WHAT MEDS THEY GIVE HIM?

I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts one of them is probably Clonidine. Probably the one he takes twice a day. I took it for blood pressure and it made me goofy. Fortunately it was temporary. One thing that worked for me was instead of taking one in the morning and one at night, the doc switched me to taking both at night, so that when the "goofy" hit, I would be asleep. Check with a doc first, but maybe that will help?
