will transfer affect status
Hi.There's a worker who was originally here on an H visa. The company applied for his greencard and he has been with them for over 5 years. Their attorney informed him that I should be receiving his greencard around Christmas, 2007. I desperately want to employ him in the same field of work for my company but am afraid the transfer will affect his status. Otherwise, I am wondering how fast can I get a foreign worker over to the US (IL) to work for me (I cannot find a USC to fill the position of a baker of foreign foods).
Please advise. |

H1B positions are full right now and new applications begin in April. You could bring somebody over on a J visa as a training or exchange program to start possibly. That could be done quickly.
