H1B renewal petition denied because of missing fee
Hello, My Petition for renewal of the H1B Visa was denied due to missing the $750 fee. We did not think that this fee needed to be paid again because the regulation says that if this is a second or subsequent renewal, then the fee is waived. We misinterpreted it but I don't understand why we couldn't just pay the fee instead of the entire petition being denied. The letter basically says that I have 30 days to leave the Country and it says that the decision cannot be appealled. How can this be only because of a missing fee and what can I do?? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
