Fiancee starting new business

Hi all,

I am a Dutch citizen and currently in the US on a Visa Waiver program.
My fiancee and I can't be married until january next year. My fiancee wants to start a new business, importing goods from the EU. Is it possible that she hires me as a sales manager based on a H1B visa and in this way also extending my stay ?
I have experience as a sales manager.

You must leave the country before your visa has expired.

Your fiance needs to hire an American or Green card holder due to high unemployment in the U.S.

That h1b will be tough as limits exist and the business is not really yet established.

You might email the immigration lawyers in world law's home page and see what lesser-known options may exist.

Of course you can marry as a last resort, and celebrate it later.

As to Alienadvisor : I can totally understand your concern for american jobs taken by aliens certainly given the economic times we live in. But consider this : What would you do if you fall in love with your dream partner? I can assure you we have gone through all other options to be together.
