Default Help: H1B Visa Expired and Travelling to Bermuda on Cruise

Hi all,
I booked a cruise to Bermuda from Philadelphia. Our US visa is expired but I do have USCIS approval notice of extension and I94 valid up to may 2011. Will I be able to enter back in united states?
I'm worried and I almost canceled trip. I called Philadelphia port immigration department and their supervisor told me that if I carry all the documents and approval notice plus employment letter that I'm still employed there should not be any problem coming back.Bermuda do not allow H1B stamping for non Bermudans

Is it true that Caribbean states are considered confederate territory and I should be allowed to enter back in? Can someone expert please advise?

Your approval notice of extension normally will suffice but have an immigration lawyer review and confirm for you.

I went for a cruise and was able to come back successfully back in USA based on USCIS approval notice. Make sure you are visiting one of the contigious territory. also print a copy of this

You are not the first case and for sure you are not the last one, once you have that approval notice you shouldn't be worried about getting back to US and you shouldn't cancel your trip. You could check for you cruise liner and see how it handled similar cases. This is what happened to me in my last Royal Caribbean cruise and I didn't face any legal problems.
