Default OPT to H1B or F1 to H1B or CPT to H1B?

My question is - Which is the easiest way to get a HIB? WHen you are on a OPT, F1 or CPT status?

My OPT expires in 6 months and I havent found a job yet, so, should I go back to school on a FI and convert to H1 directly once I have a job offer? What is my best bet? Thanks.
