Confused passport that had wrong details and missing my name

i visited the american embassy years ago with a passport that had wrong details and my missing name, finger print was also done and now my mum has won the DVL and used my details but with the correct details now, im scheduled to go for an interview soon..do i go with my new passport or since my finger print was taken and my data has been saved..what do i do??

How is it that your passport originally had all the wrong details and was missing your name? That makes absolutely no sense.

The problem with showing up for your interview with a new passport that has details differing from your original passport is that they may deny your visa based upon not being able to verify that you are the same person.

it had one of my family names not written in it and secondly the year of birth was 1990 but was done 1989..
