Consular processing/Green Card lottery

I am a Sierra Leonean. My family won the DV Lottery. My wife is the PA. Were interviewed on the 18th of July 2007 in Abidjan which is our post. We were told to wait for the varification of my wife's college Diploma. We pleaded with the interviewing officer on that day, to expedite the verification because my wife was 27 weeks pregnant at that time, which she promised to do. And gave us a number to call on, one week from the interview date.

we called the Number as she said and the DV officer was not available to talk to us. we went there the next day after we have made series of calls. Someone else came outside to talk to us and told us that we should go home and wait that they will call on us. From the calculations you can see that it is over a month and still no one has said anything to us.

We have made series of appeals through the email and no one has said anything to us.

The situation now is, My wife is closer to delivery than we just started, we are running out of money because we have waited longer than expected or told to, and we have forfeited our return tickets back to our country just waiting indefintely.

Right now my parents are in the US and they have made ready all that should be, so that at least when we get there in time we will have doctor and things ready for delivery.

You should be able to make contact if you call persistently. It is a problem we see often but they will respond. You could also try to mee with other Embassy staff that may also help intervene.
