green card application while on h4
Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to apply for green card by yourself and not as an h1b dependent while on h4? Thank you. Curious |

My boyfriend is here legally on an H4, If I--as a us citizen--married him, how long would it take for him to obtain a greencard/permanent resident status?

He would get perm resident status conditionally shortly after you get married.
