Hello,
I came to the USA on K-1 visa and got married within the 90 days entered the country. It's been over 2 years of marriage and haven't filed the AOS yet. The problem is that my husband's income doesn't meet the requirement. Also, we don't think we can have any co-sponsors. Is there any consideration on this situation since we've been married for over 2 years? Do you think if I file for the AOS now, it will be denied? Thanks :-) |

You should be able to work around that and you can ask for an exemption -- but frankly you should have an immigration lawyer assist. It gets a bit technical...

Thanks. Anyway, do you know any reliable immigration lawyer (in michigan, better)?
