Applying for Green card under EB-1

I am from India and presently working in the US as a manager in a multinational with business in Oil & Gas sector. I am planning to apply for green card by myself under EB-1 category. My questions are,
1. What do you think are my chances of getting approved considering that I only have a BS in Engineering?
2. In case my application gets rejected can I ever re-apply? What about re-applying (after being rejected) through my employer?

I will appreciate if anybody can help me out with these queries.

Not that easy to do...and frankly you should not do that without legal counsel.

You don't get multiple attempts and it is complex.

Yeah, you want to get all your information together and submit the right forms correctly. Your cahnces are always better first time if all documentation is right. Rather get professional help up front.
