Urgent-Should I go ahead with GC or change status?
My H1 6 yr term expires in 9 weeks,waiting for perm approval.Was out of US for 4 months the whole H1 term,can I recapture that time?Or should I change to H4 since spouse is on H1?Can I use the remaining H1 period after a year from now for perm?Please advise!

Review your details with counsel. In your situation many factors could effect your status and you may be able to simply continue with what has already been filed.
