Change jobs while waiting for GC

I would appreciate any advice on this:

My GC process is under EB-3...
My priority date is April 17, 2007
My I-140 was approved on Dec 8, 2007
My I-485 is still pending (and I think it will stay like that for the next couple of years..)

I have EAD and AP issued on June 2008 and my H1-B visa is extended until Oct 2011.

I received a job offer from a different employeer, but they would not sponsor me. Do I have any options? I heard something about being able to change jobs after 6 months of having the I-140 approved, but I'm not sure how it works.

I think you should review those details with actual counsel. I believe you do need to be sponsored still. i was in a similar situation.
