Green card for partner
I'm an American living in Paris, France. My French partner and I PACS'd (civil union) several months ago. Is this recognized by the U.S. when it comes time for him to apply for a green card? What is the best way to deal with this? Thank you!

Im interested in how your situation turned out ??? My partner and I reside in Cali. Hes a canadian citizen and over stayed his visa , we trying to figure out how to keep him here lregaly hes not only my partner but we raise my two young sons together as well . Any feedback or suggestions ???? Jimi

Not under federal immigration law at this time---it is not recognized for immigration purposes
