Help with applying for green card

I need an urgent help and don't know whom to ask. I am on student visa (F1) in United States and recently gor married to H1 husband whose greencard has been applied by the company. He has already done his finger printing and medical. He also got his employment authorization. It is since 6 months of our marriage and he has not added me to his file. Whenever I ask him about my greencard, he says he can't add me right now and is waiting for current date. He also says it might take 1 yr or 3 yrs to have current date and till then I have to stay on student visa. I want to find out if that is true and how can I get atleast employment authorizing so that atleast I can start working. Please let me know ASAP, if anybody can help me. Thanks in advance.
