Default Re: sue the county government in small claims

Some small claims will not allow gov. suits...so check with your local clerk of the court there first or review their guidelines online.

Confused Re: Getting an Administrative Judge/Hearing examiner to hear Complaint.

The scenario:A state of Wisconsin(County of Dane) man receiving $109.00 per week in Extended unemployment benefits has been submitting job applications for the better part of the last six months with No Results. The Wisconsin man has been going to the Job Center Of Dane County to do research on the computers with regard to restarting a sole proprietership(A Wisconsin Dept.of Revenue sellers permit costs just $20.00) that he has operated in the past. After doing some research on the internet, this man has discovered that for $200.00,he can buy his Dept of Revenue Permit, and some novelty items wholesale, and sell these items at a small profit. In other words if he cannot get someone to hire him,he will instead, hire himself*(see definition of "Job" below).A Job Center employee proceeds to tell this man that he's only allowed to use the computers to 'ask other people/employers for jobs'.

Using the legal definition of "Job",this Wisconsin man tells the Job Service employee that he's wrong, and continues his research. The Job Service employee then tells the man that "he's permantly barred from using this Job Service facility.".This Job Sevice facility also has the State&County Health & Human Services office, which means he cannot apply for Medical Assistance,Food stamps or any other possible State or County services to which he is legally entitled.

The man was told that he could not even request a hearing,or file a complaint.

So,what's a guy to do?
The Wisconsin man's suggested course of action would be to contact the clerk of an Administrative Judge/hearing examiner, and present his complaint/case to him/her.

I'm just looking for some guidance on this issue.I need to resolve this matter within the next two to three weeks. It may well turn out to be a life or death situation.

Suggestions welcome.

Thank you.
