Can handicapped placards be used in other states in the US?

A US placard issued by the DMV is valid in all States in the US, Canada & Mexico without any tickets.

All States have a reciprocal agreement to recognize all handicap placards even if issued by a different state. Of course this has to be used with the person with the disability being present and having the registration that comes with the placard would also be a good idea. This covers any vehicle that that person would be transported in.

I have a Disabled Parking Placard from CA and plan to visit many countries in Europe. Will I be able to use it there without getting a ticket? Thanks.

I was ticketed using one; so it does not seem they thought it was valid.
