Confused 18 month old refused medical services after he was already checked in

Hello well I just wanted to know what I should do? Last week we took my 18month old son to a walk in clinic in Hesperia,CA. We've already been there twice before. My two boys did have medical/healthy families insurance in L.A. County Where we used to live so they had a health plan and dr. there. So the first two times we went there we paid for the consultation visit because the medical insurance was only good in L.A. County and we mention this to them and they where ok with that and took them in those two times. Well this last time I went in they took me in right away because my son had a 103.0 fever and a cough so they thought he had swine flu or something. They where nice untill they asked for insurance so I told them the same thing I had told them before that we had medical/healthy families for L.A. County only and their new insurance for San Bernandino County wasn't effective till the 1st of May so I was willing to pay because he needed to get checked. So this is where the problem started the office manager started saying that if they did see him it they would be doing medical fraud and she was so rude I told her that they had already seen him there before and they didn't say anything about medical fraud the two previous times we where there she got mad at me and told me not to argue with her when I wasn't doing that I was just trying to explain things to her but she wouldn't let me she was just being rude and stubburn. So they refused to give him medical attention after he was already in the room the lady basiclly kick me out of the building. So we had to drive an hour to his dr. In LA county the next morning because they refused to see him there. I tried calling the office to speak to the manager and the same lady answer and once again she was rude and didn't want to listen to what I had to say like im stupid or something. I've worked in the medical field and from my knowledge its illegal to regect medical service if a person is willing to pay for services. So what do you think I should do? Should I contact The medical Board of California???

Yes that would be a good idea but unfortunately they are not legally required to treat anybody unless it is a life and death emergency.

Still most firms do have a series of rules and guidelines in place and that was certainly not good service.
