Today I was contacted by the HMO.
Although I have not made it clear here, I DO NOT blame the HMO. After a long conversation two things were clear. 1) The State TEXAS MEDICAID is designing these events, knowing that they are beyond the HMO's scope to address them. That the State TEXAS MEDICAID is hiding behind the HMO, while the HMO is unaware. 2) The State TEXAS MEDICAID has conducted itself in a malfeasant manner. Especially after TEXAS MEDICAID settling a lawsuit on basically the same issues of not providing that which is guaranteed by Federal Law. It is my belief the HMO is trying to operate in good faith however is just as vulnerable to the State's TEXAS MEDICAID malfeasance as I am. I instructed the HMO to "throw me under the bus", rather than be victimized by a reputation it does not deserve. I am steadfast in my pursuit of the State TEXAS MEDICAID for as long as it takes. I can imagine that in a TEXAS MEDICAID ombudsman's office somewhere they are having a VooDoo dance hoping one of my blood clots will break loose. Last edited by Postman : 07-21-2008 at 10:38 PM. |

For the FIFTH TIME, today I was denied a precription by my doctor by TEXAS MEDICAID. I don't even know at this point if actual precriptions are being issued or if my doctor is down to asking; Well then Texas Medicaid can he have this? The response from Texas Medicaid is NO!. However I am offered at each occurance to subsdize my own health care OUT OF POCKET. I question if Title 42 authorizes TEXAS MEDICAID, to encourage CO-PAY, DEDUCTIBLE ( beneficiary subsidization) and basically extortion.
My other concern is that these TEXAS MEDICAID practices I cannot find in Title 42 are not being applied to sixth grade girls receiving the HPV vaccine for a virus they do not have. Further I am concerned that these Texas Medicaid beneficiaries are victims of violation of their constitutional rights in that they are not allowed CO-PAY, DEDUCTIBLE ( beneficiary subsidization) and basically extortion, as I am for their TEXAS MEDICAID $380.00 HPV vaccination. I am awaitng my notice of hearing date and location as per my formal complaint about TEXAS MEDICAID, as well as response to my filing a FEDERAL DISCRIMINATION COMPLAINT. Update, as of this AM my ranking on google for TEXAS MEDICAID has improved one whole page in the last 24 hrs. I attribute this to the help of WLD members. As this is friday and the server admins for the TEXAS MEDICAID state sites are busy backing up, maybe I can get to page three for TEXAS MEDICAID unnoticed by monday AM when the admins return to work.
Again, Thank you WLD and Members |

FYI Update
the Fox's eye Through all of this I have gleened a single bit of information that I KNOW TO BE TRUE. In my post number 12 I refer to the client advocates. As of that post that responsibilty has been transferred to the HMO. So I hope I make the correct analogy. Before that date, I had a guard at my hen house. Who I believed had no agenda but earn their paycheck by the due diligence of protecting my hens. This morning I woke up to fox guarding my henhouse. The state told be that this fox is sworn to be autonomus and defend my hens and is compensated by the HMO for that duty. However when I look into his twinkling eyes, and the assuring grin, I notice feathers on his lips. Now my question, was that the HMO's hen, the Fox's hen, or my hen? I have no documented promise from the fox. And the fox knows I must sleep. I cannot help but echo a famous affirmation in my mind. I AM NOT A CROOK, as I look into the twinkle of the fox's eye. It would seem this saga draws to a close.
What have I learned? 1) I am not a welfare recipient, I am an entitlee* 2) I am the only one who can claim my rights, and I do not use the word claim lightly. 3) I am one in several hundreds of thousand. I am single voice in a chorus of despair and fear. 4) I cannot blame or complain if the error is mine. 5) I must have some tolerance for the errors of others. 6) I must not give up, or even slow my pace in pursuit. Where my complaint was for the most part aimed at the state, the state admitted it failed in the respect that it requires self accountability by it's contractor the HMO (who will remain unnamed) but relies too heavily on that. I think the States attention has been heightened. I would hope it heeds the first alarm in the future and not the last as the firehouse burns down. Once all the issues were understood, over the last few days, a very conscience young lady I will call AP began resolution and did not relent. This is one State Employee I dont mind my taxes being spent on. I might add a bargain at any price. ![]() *this post has been edited* P.S. Thank you WLD. I dont think this is what you intended your forum to be. I am sorry I had an immeadiate need and absconded with that priveledge. However, I truely believe this forum helped me. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT... AS OF 16:35 08-06-08 This post is subject to revision at any moment. Please stay tuned Last edited by Postman : 08-07-2008 at 11:03 AM. Reason: events changed |

In order to indemnify itself the State is now moving to conspire.
I am close to filing a Complaint of Violation of Constitutional Rights. Having already filed a Federal Discrimination complaint. |
