Do we have to register in all 50 states if our organization is primarily fundraising in California but does have an Internet site that accepts donations nationwide?

Normally no. Your place of business and primary offices usually suffices. But the law is being examined in many states on that issue so keep abreast of developments.

This might sound like a stupid question, but does a non-profit organization HAVE to incorporate?
Is it not legal to have a solely owned non-profit business?
