My husband has left me for another woman recently. I received my conditional green card in June 2007.
My husband says he will still sign the paperwork in 2 years to take off the conditional status, however, I rather apply to remove the conditions myself, which I hear is possible. What kind of information do I need to submit under my situation. Or would you advise me to stay married, and let my husband just sign the paperwork next year to remove my conditional status? I do have photos, cards, and text messages to show he's cheated if any of that will help |

Get immigration counsel involved but you can still stay as long as the marriage was real at the time you married.
But Immigration will examine that issue closely. |
