K1 complication?
I am a US citz., my fiance is from Mexico. He's lived here for quite some time, but is not legal. He's planning to go home (Mexico) in the spring, for atleast 5 months to help out with a family situation. I want to bring him back on a K-1 visa. Will the fact that he's been here illegaly before go against him in our application process?
Thanks! |

If they are aware of it, it will hurt him yes. He could even be barred from entry. You may want to make sure you have legal counsel involved in the planning etc
