My son .......

I hope someone can help me with my question.

I was married and had a son..I got divorced and my ex gave up his rights to his son at the age of 4. I remarried when my son was 6 and my husband adopted him legally. When my son turned 16 his biological father's sister found him and called him discretely and told him his biio father died a year ago. My son has just turned 18 and I did have a very good relationship with him until these people came into the picture and he is disrespecting me , my husband and has just turned himself into a different person. I just found an e-mail from these people who wrote to him that he should change his name to his biological dad's name and how that would get MY goat. These people are trying to cause alot of problems for my family. Is there anything I can do even though he is 18. These people do not have any right in my eyes to do what they are doing. They are tearing us apart. Please anyone.

It is difficult after age 18. He can communicate with them and you cannot really get a restraining order as you could if we were still a minor.

May be best to just try to work it out or let him work through this.
