Confused question on wording for an adendum

I need to draw up an adendum for my wife to give up her dower rights to go with a quit claim deed and wondered if there was any specific wording that needed to be used. And if so what? We are divorcing and I was told by a mortgage co. that it would be a good idea to get an adendum to go along with the quit claim. I will be buying her out of her share of the house and want to make sure I'm covered before I give her the money. I paid a lawyer to look over our divorce agreement but did not ask about the dower rights adendum.
