Age to marry w/o parental consent in Alabama?

Good Afternoon,

I have friends whose daughter is set on getting married as soon as she is legal age. My close friend is married to her dad and she has recentley come to live with them due to serious relationship problems with her mom. Mom, by the way, lives in Florida. So the young lady will be 18 in November and insist she is marrying her fiance' then. Her dad and step mother have been trying to get to know the fiance' in the hopes that they will not feel like immediate marraige is their only chance. Fiance' is allowed to come on weekends and spend the day either Saturday or Sunday. She is a sweet child but with self confidence issues and a serious dependancy on this young man. Ok, enough background I guess. We live in the state of Alabama. Is the legal age to marry still w/o parental consent still 18?

Yes, at age 18 she will be able to marry without parental consent.
