Default Help! I don't know what to do.

I'm a mother of two, not married with the father and is supported by his family. They use to manipulate us because we can't decide on our own for the reason that we depend on them. I've heard a lot of insults like not having a debt of gratitude and told me to get out of the house but leave the children and find my own job. Last Jan.16 the grandmother of my son,his father's mom went to his husband to visit because he is working far away from us. She took my son with her, will be going home this afternoon after 3 weeks of vacation but she left my son there. They took my son without me knowing he will stay there. In my own opinion, in that age my son still needs me but they deprived me of my rights. My son is only 2 yrs. old and 1 month, he should be with me. I am working and I can only give them my time at the evening and on Sundays but they took him away from me as if we both don't need each other. For now I am thinking of some legal actions if they won't bring my son home. Is it lawful that they can just do everything they want because they feed us?

They cannot do that legally. If you go to court they will be ordered to return him and never do that again.

You can go to court without a lawyer if need be in this type of matter.

You may contact the local family law court which may even have basic, easy forms for you to use.

In addition to the previous advice:

get a job, move out and then the family will no longer control you. It's very simple- stop depending on them for support.
