Background check discrepancy
Hello,
I have a question about me being convicted of domestic violence ten years ago. I was given a no bill but when I attempted to purchase a firearm I was denied due the domestic charge still being on my background check. The charges were dismissed I would like to know why I am unable to purchase a firearm? Thank You, Randy |

Call your local prosecutor and police dept--if it was completely dismissed it should not prevent you from purchasing.
Make sure you are clear as to what is on the record--and errors do exist by the way. |
