Angry want Freedom in Kentucky

The school filed charges against my daughter (out of control charges) back in Sept. of this year, and we are still going to court over it. Her Doctor has signed an Application for Home/Hospital Instruction paper saying she has Social Anxiety (Anxiety Disorder) and that the duration of treatment is long term. I will be showing this to the court tomorrow. I, her mother, am tired of going to court over this issue. I have not given up my parental rights, and am not aware they can be taken from me? If I have to go into that court and tell them we are moving to Georgia to get out of their grasp, I will do so. I want this issue resolved. My daughter is 16 and since she's been diagnosed I want to enroll her in American School, which allows her the freedom to do her school work at home and send it in to be graded. Her current High School accepts credits from this school. However, we want to stop going to court over this issue. Why can't I just go up to the school and sign her out permanently? HELP!!!!

You normally could. Or enroll in private school.

The court proceeding would then continue only as to any damage or other issues that may have occurred, but not as to her schooling
