Exclamation Grandparents kidnapping my son

Hi my partner left my son and i yesterday morning withour feeding him changing him or dressing. When i told her that we were going away for a while until she had sorted her mental state out she rang her mother who then came and broke into our house took my son out of his bed and left with him. I need to know if this legal please as the local police who are friends with my mother inlaw refuse to do anything to help me.

If you are the parent you have rights equal to the other bio parent but the mother has no rights to intervene. And no right to break in--file a police report if needd be.
