Im 21 years old and im 7 1/2 months pregnant and i live in michigan..im no longer with the father and he told me he wants to sign his rights off..He wrote me messages today saying he cant sign his rights off...he said that I have to be married to sign his rights off..is this true??
Can somebody please tell me some information about signing rights off.. Thank you!! |

You two can try to agree but it is not binding.
He is still liable for support etc. if you take state benefits. He is the father until another adopts the child. |
