What age do you have to be in Texas to move out of your parent's house and they can't bring you back? And does it matter who you go with or can they file kidnapping charges against whoever you live with?

Lots of my students have emancipation from their parents, but they are more responsible than them.

age 18. and no anyone who aides you can be charged with harboring a runaway, contributing to a minor, and interfering with parental custody. and if they take the minor across state lines, it becomes a federal offense, carrying a heavy prison term, 5-10 years in a federal prison. its called the mann act.
