Angry giving up parental rights

i had an affair over a year ago and found out by the state of ct that this girl was claiming i was the father. this girl was a so called hooker. well i took the test and its positive. she never once tried to reach me to tell me this or even tell me after this child was born just went on state and now i have to pay child support . like i said it was a 1 night stand with a hooker. come to find out by the state worker that dcf took the child from her and gave it to her mother. how do i sign over my parental rights ? what steps do i have to take to even start the process?
help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Re: giving up parental rights

Unfortunately you normally cannot do so unless the child is adopted by another party...
