Widow property rights
A Wife who later became a widow, bought a house with his husband who dies later.
Who is/are the person or people that ownes the house in the case that the dead husband had a living son from previous marriage? Is it possible that the son of a previus marriage can claim "his part" (from his dead father) to the widow and she will be forced to sell the property to divide the money? |

No she usually gets to stay in the house while she is alive. But it sounds like you should have a lawyer or title company check out what is really on the deeds etc.--the cost should be minimal.
