Default Need to know if any laws r broken

Ok this is the story...I just found out that my friend...who is 20...was locked up in her room while her parents went to wal-mart. The refuse to let her move out...she has to be home at 9:00pm, her parents believe she is a bad and is a ho and calls her these things...She wanted to move out but they said no because her bro moved out and now r forcing her to pay rent. She has a clean record is not a ho and does nothing wrong. The parents r just calling her all these things for no reason. I want to help but i dunno if there breaking any laws...like harrasment or soemthing i mean honestly shes 20 years old she can do whatever she likes but drink so far. K thx

It is not really illegal unless she literally was locked in a room--She can move out or do what she wants at age 18. If she chooses to live in their house they can set house rules.

She may want to find an apt to share and get out of there based on what you say here.
