State: Kentucky I know a family member who intentionally has children with woman after woman, and he has 10-12 already. He has made statements to the effect of finding a woman in Kentucky to get pregnant. Is there any legal way to stop his wreckless behavior? He seems bent on just making as many babies as he can and not supporting them. Thank you! |

I wish to inform you that when a child is born with the consent of the girl then the person is not at fault. Having of children does not violate law. If the women is an adult she have right to think about herself. In this if you family member uses fraud or deceptive means then the victim may take certain action and not you in this regard.

So there's nothing that can legally be done to stop this kid from populating the Earth without providing any support whatsoever? Should there not be some way to restrict his activities? To me, there is something mentally wrong with a young man who's attitude is to make as many babies as he can with as many women as he can. Isn't it off center to make a comment like "I'm gonna find me a woman here in Kentucky to get pregnant!", especially since he already has a dozen kids he gives no support to?
This sort of reckless young attitude is what costs everyone time, money and resources. |

No, there is nothing that can legally be done to prevent him from continuing his selfish, irresponsible behavior.
If these women all went after him for child support, perhaps he'd think twice about impregnating these women. We also live in a day and age that one cannot be forced into mental facilities for their own good. Unfortunately. You may not like what he's doing but it's not your place to pass judgment on others nor is it really any of your business. You likely have more than enough going on in your own life to pay attention to. |

It is nice that you are concerned about the world and I strongly disagree with the person who said it is not of your business. As civilized beings it is our duty to use common sense and concern for the well being of a whole rather than let everyone whatever they want (= anarchy.)
In regards to your question, it is not the fault of the man only, but the women who consent to this. In my opinion there should be a test in order to have children. One should have sufficient finance, knowledge and common sense in order to have one. Resource are getting scarce on earth (think oil). Also in the past, we had many children and a few made it to adulthood. Nowadays, most llive longer and longer. People who abuse their 'rights' should be punished. The justice system should have that right, whether there is a law or no law - in certain cases of course. Finally, guess who is going to pay the tab for all these children. |

Most likely the citizens of his state are helping support these children as Johnny Appleseed goes about procreating, breeding with any woman who will lie still for him. What might make him alter his ways is sufficient time in jail for non support. Eventually the law will catch up with him and place him where his, um, attempts to breed will produce no offspring.
