I wish to inform you that if the child has been adopted then child support may not be obtained from parent. In this regard after the child has been adopted then it is adopted parent who is responsible for child and not biological parent. Biological parent may not be liable for back child support. Child support is from the day court orders child support and as no court order for child upport is there therefore no child support can be ordered.

Is this a hypothetical question or are you the biological father asking this question?

The biological father must not have been aware, or been made aware, that he had a child in the world. Otherwise the mother's new husband would not have been able to adopt the child.

No, he will not be held responsible for any back child support. The child is the legal responsibility of the man who adopted the child.
