I have a gf who is 16 and she has a very disruptive family. After the parents found out the girl and i have been getting intimate, they've become aggressive and very verbally abusive. They're also threatening to do all types of things to her like send her away to places or kick her out. The parents are also drunks and I really fear for her safety and well-being. Is there any way to legally take her out of that house before anything actually happens? As a sidenote, i live in New Jersey

You have no legal authority to do anything. She is a minor and must live under her parent's rules until such times she turns 18. If you assist her in hiding out at your house, you can get yourself into legal trouble.
She can always report her parents to child protective services if she is truly being abused. Or you can. |

You could also avoid the problem altogether by not having sex with her, or at least telling them you have stopped and are willing to wait.
Abuse is awful but that subject matter is likely to cause many, if not most, parents to act the same way for at least a while. If you're worried for her well being, the sex isn't worth the risk. |

In New Jersey a person who has attained the age of 18 is considered as an adult. Since your girl friend is below 18, she can’t move out without the permission of her parents. If she moves out without the permission then it can be considered as run away. If you abet her in runway then you can also be charged with that. Her parents can’t kick her out of the house but can make her live with relatives. More over if she feels that she is being abused then she need to call the family service department or child protective service and they will investigate the matter and take necessary actions.
