I have been married for four years and my wife is filing for a divorce. We both have good jobs but my wife has incurred a lot of bills which she can't pay. She is moving out and filing for bankrupcy. I am willing and able to pay the mortgage on our home but how does her filing for bankrupcy affect me as far as all the other bills go? Am I responsible for those? If I sell the home does she get half of the price even though I have been paying the mortgage payment? Please help.

You will be responsible for the rest of the bills that are joint bills. The divorce court should take that into account however and award you more assets.
