Question Any Texas Laws Protecting Widows?

Hello,

My Niehbor passed away and left his wife behind. She has no family left and I've been trying to help her out but this isn't something I can do much longer. She is in her 60s and doesn't have a job seeing as she's never really worked a day in her life. I really don't want to see her loose her house and anything she has left. I just figured I would try to find if there are any laws out there that could help her and protect her.

Does she have any money left from the estate? She may need some counseling or social services help...She may want to also meet with social services to have them help her sign up for all gov. benefits she may be entitled to...

There is no one law to protect her 100% unfortunately.
