HOMESCHOOLING AND COLLECTING SOCIAL SECURITY AFTER 18...Help!

Okay. I've been homeschooled most my life, but now that I'll be turning 18 in a couple months with a year to go before I 'graduate', Social Security is demanding that I go to a supervised school with a certified teacher, otherwise my benefits [around 400 a month] will be cut off.

What can we do so that I can still be homeschooled for my final year of school, and still collect the benefits for that year? We are in severe need of that extra money for the rent and the like.

I searched the internet but apparently my situation is relatively unique.

So...any help?

You can ask a judge to rule that the home schooling will satisfy the requirement. But after age 18 it may be difficult.
