Add name to deed but not on mortgage (Hawaii)

Hawaii. My Aunt has a property that she would like to add my brother's name in. She still has mortgage to her property and the mortgage is under her name only. If she adds my brother's name to the deed, what will happen to the mortgage?

Nothing. She will still be solely responsible for paying the mortgage, no matter how many names she adds to the title.
