Default mother taking son out of town to live without fathers permission

my husband has a son and his mother is making him move in with her and her family which are no good. very bad influences on this child who is very mentally disturbed already by his mother who is a control freak. when it comes time for visits is she responsible for making arrangements to get my step son to the town that we live in since she decided wth out consulting with my husband weather or not it was ok to move his son there never mind live in that house? It is quite a ways away and we cant afford the gas money right now. they have joint custody.

What does the child custody order stipulate? He can always file a Motion to Enforce with the courts.

It doesnt say anything. Shr got the house when they got divorced and sit is being foreclosed on so she is moving in with mommy and daddy. But they are not good people to have his son around at all. They talk to much in front of him to start. just like the mother does. when they were going through the divorce he was 10 and she would sit wiht him and let him read or read to him all the divorce paperwork such as the filings my husband did because he wanted full custody. She really is a sick person. But the problem is money the lawyer is so expensive. Can we do this Pro-se? All it says is they have joint custody.
