Can I un-adopt a child?

Can I un-adopt our horrible child. He is just out of control. We have had him 2 years only? I just dont know what to do?

Frankly it is not easy to do (though not impossible) but you should have legal counsel involved for this terribly difficult and now complicated situation.

How old is the child? Have you exhausted all other avenues? I.e. counseling, parenting classes, etc?

of course you do realize that you wont have an easy time adopting again. agencies will consider you a bad risk to adopt a child in the future.

What is this child doing that makes you want to give him away? Have you taken him/her to a psychiatrist for a possible diagnosis of mental illness?

Some? How much is some? And why has it not worked?
