Canceling a Petition to remove Minor child.
Hi, I recently Had a petition in the courts to Remove my daughter From state to move with my husband who is in the navy. The judge heard My petition and Told me that We would have to have a lawyer represent her & it's 500/person. For the beginning fee and they told me in the end i'd be likely to be asked to leave My daughter behind to stay with her father so i can move out there, there is no way i want that to happen. i want to keep my daughter and if that means i will stay here for the next two years until my husband gets outta the navy then so be it. So i was wondering after all that is ordered if there was any way i could Stop My petition and not go through this lawyer to represent my daughter? can i petition To cancel My petition to Remove Minor child from state ? Or is it too late, Please anything will help. i really need to know asap.
