Default Parent terminate grandparent temp. guardianship

I have a 15 year old son who has been living with his grandmother since he was 4. This was best for him and I was and am still consistently in his life. Now that I have grown up and am now 35 and am in a committed and loving marriage for around 7 years. My husband will be active military sometime within the next 30 days. He has been in the army for 9 years.

I have all the documents of each year she has gone down to the Tulsa county courthouse to sign for temporary guardianship. There are many factors here that I was unaware of. She, to this day, tells the courts I have not been in his life. along with other colorful words.

What are my rights as a parent to terminate her temp.guardianship?

I have done extensive research and have found nothing like this matter.

I have graduated college in 1999 as an Admin. Asst. and now am half way through my associates in Accounting with the Univ. of Phoenix online and holding a 3.3 gpa. My son, my husband and I all want him to be with us full time.

It seems that the grandmother has revolved her entire world around him and refuses to allow me to be a parent.

I need to know my rights as the parent with remaining parental rights, I need websites and or ANYTHING to tell me what to do. I am more than wiling to do the foot work.

You normally have first priority unless the court thinks it will be disruptive to the child. In that case they may want to ease you back in.

You certainly can move to take back custody one way or another.
